**Security Officer**

**Department:** Security **Office:** Stormy Point Village

**Location:** Branson, MO

The Security Officer maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

* Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations

* Maintains security of all areas of the property

* Is familiar with all team members

* Is familiar with all alarm systems

* Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies

* Completes and files all necessary reports

* Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate

* Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General Manager

* Reports any maintenance issues to General Manager

* Maintains knowledge of check-in/out procedures

* Maintains professionalism at all times

* Approaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionable

* All other duties as requested

**General Statement** - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.

**Job Requirements**

**Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:**

* High School diploma/ GED

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations

**Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:**

* Presents a calm and professional demeanor at all times

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Demonstrates alertness and attentiveness

* Strong ethical and moral values

* Flexible schedule; weekends and holidays are required

**Shift:** Additional hours may be required

* Regular Hours and Weekend
